Where is the Island of

Grand Manan?

Grand Manan Island is located at the southwest end of the Bay of Fundy, twenty-five miles from the coastline of New Brunswick, Canada and nine miles from the shoreline of Maine, United States. The Island is in New Brunswick, Canada, and it can be reached by ferry, small plane, or private boat. Whales may be seen during the ferry ride to and from Grand Manan.

From the ferry landing in North Head, the museum is a little more than 11 km south on Highway 776, on the left across from the community school in Grand Harbour. Parking is available beside the building, with the entrance in the front.
